This popular range of Micro Turning tools embodies the craftsmanship resplendent in Robert Sorbys world renowned full size tools. The unique sizes and profiles in this series have been adapted to provide the flexibility and control essential for detail work. These tools are ideal for working on smaller lathes where the handle of a normal size tool might encounter the lathe bed during some operations.

This parting tool has a flute running along the bottom edge, creating two sharp spurs at the cutting face. These sever the fibres to produce a burnished finish. The tapered profile also reduces the risk of binding in the cut.
